Terms of Service

By installing or using the Clankoids browser extension ("the Extension") or visiting clankoids.com ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension or Site.

Clankoids is a browser extension for x.com that captures tweet and account metadata from supported X pages, including timeline, tweet-detail, bookmarks, profile, followers, and following views. It sends that data to our backend so we can score bot, AI-generated, and spam risk and render filtering or labeling inside your feed.

The Extension modifies only your local view of X. It does not post, reply, like, follow, DM, or otherwise automate actions on your behalf, and it does not attempt to circumvent rate limits or platform controls.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Extension. The current launch uses Google sign-in for Clankoids account access and synced settings. You are responsible for activity that happens through your signed-in Clankoids account.

You agree not to:

• —Use Clankoids on accounts, browsers, or machines you are not authorized to use
• —Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Extension for competitive purposes
• —Use the Extension to facilitate harassment, targeted abuse, spam, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
• —Try to bypass sign-in or entitlement controls
• —Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Extension or any part of it
• —Use any future paid or API offering in ways that violate X's Terms of Service, applicable law, or third-party rights
• —Misrepresent the Extension's functionality or your affiliation with clankoids.com

Clankoids is currently offered on a free launch basis. There is no live checkout or paid subscription flow right now. If paid features or API offerings are introduced later, pricing and billing terms will be shown on the Site or checkout flow before you are charged.

Any future paid checkout or billing management flow will be handled through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

Clankoids processes tweet text and account metadata from supported X pages to score bot, AI, and spam risk. Raw tweet text may be processed for scoring and is not stored as part of your account record, but we may retain derived product records such as verdict bands, source tweet IDs, sampled target handles or IDs, synced rules, and daily usage totals needed to operate the product. The Extension, including its detection models, algorithms, interface, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Clankoids. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Extension for personal or internal business purposes.

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that bot detection will be 100% accurate, that the Extension will be uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with all future versions of Twitter/X or Chrome.

False positives and false negatives are inherent to ML-based detection. You can whitelist accounts or reveal filtered content at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, clankoids.com and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to missed content, incorrect filtering, or service interruptions.

clankoids.com is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitter, X Corp, or any related entities. "Twitter" and "X" are trademarks of X Corp.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Extension at our discretion, particularly in cases of Terms violations. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or the Extension. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
